Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actress, producer and director. Her most prominent work is for her starring part on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her childhood was spent living in Los Angeles where she came from a family of middle-class. The mother of her children was a film fan and encouraged her to love movies as a young person. Paula was a part of co-curricular school events, and she was particularly interested in acting. She loved acting in stage plays along with her peers. After starring in numerous shows at her high school, Hamilton Magnet Arts High School She decided to pursue acting her career. She enrolled at the University of Southern California in the summer program, and loved her time there. She was given a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. She started her career as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. Next, she was going to start producing documentaries. While she enjoyed her job, she still yearned to be an actress. Her first acting gig came by playing a supporting role in Will Smith's romantic comedy Hitch. Since then, she has played in many well-known television and film shows.
